Here I am back again, thanks to the help of the Seagate customer center. I know that this is not a tech blog, but I think that this was an important experience even for other people that have my own problem. As I wrote in my previous post, my hard drive was brocken and my pc didn't work. I sent a request to the manufacturer customer center because the hard drive is under warranty yet. After 10 minutes I sent the request, I received an e-mail where they asked me exactly what kind of problem I had. At the end of the discussion, they told me that a courier collected my hard drive at their own charges and brought it to the European branch for the problem analysis and eventually for the data recovery. After a week that my hard drive had left, it came back functioning, with all the data inside and without spending money. So thanks Seagate for helping me! And remember: if you had a problem with something, before doing anything, contact the customer center, it would help you!

Eccomi qui di nuovo, grazie all'aiuto del servizio clienti di Seagate. Lo so che questo non è un blog di informatica, ma penso che questa potrebbe essere un'esperienza importante anche per altre persone che hanno il mio stesso problema. Come ho scritto nel mio post precedente, il mio hard disk era rotto ed il mio pc non funzionava. Ho mandato una richiesta al servizio clienti del produttore perché l'hard disk era ancora in garanzia. Dopo 10 minuti che avevo inviato la richiesta, ho ricevuto una mail dove mi chiedevano esattamente che tipo di problema avessi. Alla fine della discussione, mi hanno detto che un corriere sarebbe venuto a ritirare l'hard disk a loro spese, e l'avrebbe portato nella filiale europea per l'analisi del problema, ed eventualmente per il recupero dati. Dopo una settimana che il mio hard disk era partito, è tornato funzionante, con dentro tutti i dati e soprattutto senza spendere un euro. Perciò grazie Seagate per avermi aiutato! E ricordate: se avete un problema con qualcosa, prima di fare qualsiasi cosa, contattate il servizio clienti, protrebbe esservi molto d'aiuto!

Bad luck on my way

Just a quick updating about my situation: I am not dead, not yet at least (talking potentially, of course!), but I have a big problem with my pc: the hard drive is out of order, so the pc doesn't work. But I have all my data inside: photos, drafts, new topics, etc. and I cannot reach them. Solo un aggiornamento veloce sulla mia situazione: non sono morta, non ancora perlomeno (virtualmente parlando s'intende!), ma ho un grosso problema con il pc: l'hard disk è rotto, perciò il pc non funziona. Sanremo festival

Maybe not everybody knows that in February in Italy it takes place the most important singing contest of the entire country. It is the Sanremo Festival, just finished. During this week in the entire country nothing doesn't matter anymore and medias talk only about it. Beyond the singing contest, it is a various show that involves also the fashion world. During this week the artists wear new collections' clothes and the fashion designers compete to dress the hosts. Below you could see some of the most beautiful hosts' outfit, or at least those which I loved the most.

Forse non tutti sanno che in Febbraio in Italia ha luogo il più importante festival della canzone di tutto il paese. E' il Festival di Sanremo, appena conclusosi. Durante questa settimana l'intero paese si ferma, non importa più di niente ed i media parlano solo di lui. Al di là della gara canora, è uno spettacolo vario che tocca anche il mondo della moda. Durante questa settimana infatti, gli artisti indossano abiti delle nuove collezioni e gli stilisti fanno a gara per vestire i conduttori. Di seguito trovate alcuni dei look più belli delle conduttrici, o almeno quelli che mi sono piaciuti di più.

Figures on ice

After spending some days on the mountains relaxing and doing winter sports, here I am again. Someone wrote me about my delay on publishing news and I hope he'll be satisfied now. I took an holiday in Piancavallo (PN), a great ski resort. The first day, when we arrived, we went directly to the ice stadium and I had a wonderful surprise: the ice stadium was only for us! Here you are what happened!

Dopo aver passato alcuni giorni in montagna rilassandomi e facendo sport invernali, eccomi di nuovo qui. Qualcuno mi ha scritto sul perché non pubblicassi più post e spero che ora sia soddisfatto. Sono stata in vacanza a Piancavallo (PN), una fantastica località sciistica. Il primo giorno, quando siamo arrivati, siamo andati direttamente al palazzo del ghiaccio e lì ho trovato una sorpresa meravigliosa: lo stadio del ghiaccio era solo per noi! Ecco cosa è successo!
