What a week end!

As I announced it in advance in my last post, on friday I took part in the proposal by Tu Style magazine. They took some shoots of my outfit as you can see by the pictures below. For this occasion I choose a printed sheath dress (one of my favourites) and a short shantung jacket. The accessories are yellow and black. It was really funny and I met a colleague of mine: the fashion blogger Irene from Irene's Closet blog. She is very nice, we talk a lot and she gives me advices for my blog. Come vi avevo preannunciato nel mio ultimo post, venerdì ho partecipato all'iniziativa della rivista Tu Style. Mi hanno fatto un po' di foto del mio outfit come potete vedere dalle foto di seguito. Per questa occasione ho scelto un tubino stampato (uno dei miei preferiti!) ed una giacca corta in shantung. Gli accessori sono gialli e neri. E' stato molto divertente ed ho conosciuto anche una collega: la fashion blogger Irene del blog Irene's Closet. E' molto simpatica, abbiamo parlato molto e mi ha dato consigli sul mio blog. A funny suit

What do you think about this suit not conventional? It's easy and young thanks to the coloured printed parts mixed with a light denim, but in the meantime it's chic and right for the office. I prefer it to the others more severe, especially in this warm season.

Cosa ne pensate di questo completo non convenzionale? E' divertente e giovane grazie agli inserti stampati molto colorati mescolati con un jeans leggero, ma allo stesso tempo è elegante e adatto all'ufficio. Lo preferisco ad altri più seri, specialmente in questa stagione piacevolmente calda.

Saturday at market

Saturday I went to the second European biggest square: Prato della Valle in Padua. On Saturday, all day long, there is a big big street market, where you could find everything, especially clothes and shoes. Because of the wonderful weather, I took some shoots of this spring outfit: jeans and t-shirt with geometric fabric, a brocade jacket with a silk scarf in bright colours. Don't you think that bright colours made people happier? In my case, this works!

Sabato sono stata nella seconda piazza più grande d'Europa: Prato della Valle a Padova. Il sabato, per tutto il giorno, c'è un gigantesco mercato, dove si può trovare di tutto, specialmente abbigliamento ed accessori. Siccome c'era un tempo meraviglioso, ho fatto qualche scatto del mio outfit primaverile: jeans e t-shirt a motivi geometrici, una giacca di broccato con una sciarpina di seta a colori vivaci. Non pensate anche voi che i colori vivaci rendano le persone un po' più felici? Nel mio caso funziona!

Ray of light

After long and grey days, finally a sunny day! I go outside and take some photos with my new short faux fur black & white. Isn't it cool?

Dopo lunghe giornate grigie, finalmente un po' di sole! Sono uscita e ho fatto delle foto con il mio nuovo pellicciotto corto bianco &  nero. Non è fantastico?

Prince of Wales

Here you are an outfit totally made in Prince of Wales. You know that Prince of Wales fabric is used to made jackets and trousers, it's so fashionable and warm. I used two different Prince of Wales fabrics to make waistcoat and trousers: both are grey and in wool. This look is so man-styled so the accessories are super lady-styled: high heels décolletés, big shopping bag and a hat with sequins to make more fun! You can also add big earrings and lots of bracelets (better gold colour) and you are perfect to go to work.

Ecco a voi un outfit fatto in Principe di Galles. Sapete che il Principe di Galles è utilizzato per fare giacche e pantaloni, è molto di moda ed è caldo. Io ho usato due diversi tipi di Principe di Galles per fare il gilet ed i pantaloni: sono entrambi grigi e in lana. Questo look è molto maschile perciò gli accessori saranno super femminili: décolletés con tacco alto, una grande shopping bag ed un cappello con le paillettes per sdrammatizzare! Si possono anche aggiungere grandi orecchini ed un sacco di braccialetti (meglio dorati) e sarete perfette per andare al lavoro.

Natural style

After complex and elaborate outfits for Christmas holidays, here you are a simple and natural look. I have no make up and even the hair is natural, without styling. I wear a sweater, skinny velvet trousers, comfortable boots, a down jacket and a long long scarf. What do you think about it? Am I so awful without make up?

Dopo outfit complessi ed elaborati per le festività natalizie, ecco un look semplice e naturale. Non ho trucco e anche i capelli sono naturali, senza messa in piega. Indosso un maglione, pantaloni di velluto skinny, stivali comodi, un piumino e una sciarpa lunga lunga. Cosa ne pensate? Sono così tremenda senza trucco?

Questo è il mio outfit per ieri notte: camicia di raso viola + gonna stretch di raso dorata con un tocco di animalier, la cintura zebrata in cavallino... semplice, ma efficace!

Christmas time

Yesterday I went to La Montecchia Golf Club for a Christmas lunch. I ate lots of refined deliciousnesses, especially the dessert. But also the rooms were wonderful, plenty of beautiful Christmas decorations. And I was happy to wear my new dark green velvet dress, short and high-waisted, with some little darts on the neckline. It is definetely my favourite winter dress and I think that I will wear it also for Christmas day.

Ieri sono stata al Golf Club La Montecchia per un pranzo di Natale. Ho mangiato un sacco di prelibatezze, specialmente il dessert. Ma anche le sale erano meravigliose, piene di decorazioni natalizie. E sono stata contenta di indossare il mio nuovo abito di velluto verde scuro, corto e a vita alta, con alcune piccole pinces sulla scollatura. E' sicuramente il mio vestito preferito per questo inverno e penso che lo indosserò anche il giorno di Natale.

Boring afternoon

What do you do when you are at home alone and bored while outside it's snowing? Well, I found the solution taking some shoots by myself. I wore my favourite waistcoat in white eco fur, velvet leggings with high heels boots and a black and white eco fur scarf and I joke with the camera. Do you like the result?
P.S.: Yes, I went to the hairdresser, do you notice?

Cosa fate quando siete a casa da soli e vi annoiate mentre fuori nevica? Beh, io ho trovato la soluzione facendo degli autoscatti. Ho indossato il mio gilet preferito di eco pelliccia bianca, leggings di velluto con stivali a tacco alto ed una sciarpa bianca e nera di eco pelliccia e ho giocato con la macchina fotografica. Vi piace il risultato?
P.S.: Sì, sono andata dal parrucchiere, si nota?

The last show

While everybody's going back and forth for Christmas presents, yesterday I went to Venice for the last season's show in La Fenice theatre. It was an unusual opera from a Daniel Pennac novel. For this event I chose my brand new eco fur with sleeves and neck in natural wool. This makes it less heavy and in the meantime more fashionable. I assure you that I was really warm despite it was a frosty day. For the inside I wore a nice wool dress in green-brown-gold colours with satin finishing touches. Make up in the same colours, handmade earrings, some rings and gold nails complete this outfit.

Mentre tutti stavano impazzendo per le strade in cerca dei regali di Natale, ieri sono andata a Venezia per l'ultimo spettacolo della stagione del teatro La Fenice. Era un'opera insolita tratta da un racconto di Daniel Pennac. Per l'occasione ho scelto la mia eco pelliccia nuova di zecca con maniche e collo in lana naturale. Questo la rende meno "pesante" e nello stesso tempo alla moda. Vi assicuro che stavo veramente calda, nonostante la giornata ghiacciata. Per l'interno ho indossato un grazioso abito in lana in fantasia verde-marrone-oro con rifiniture in raso. Trucco nelle stesse tonalità, orecchini fatti a mano, alcuni anelli ed unghie dorate completano il look.

Cats

Wednesday I saw Cats, one of the most famous world's musical. I was so excited to see the famous Jellicle cats and the show was great, even in the Italian version. Below you can find some photos.
For this event I wore my first eco fur of the season: my grey eco fur classic style. Beneath of it, there was a simple white shirt with a "rounded" cardigan, fasted not with usual buttons, but with a clip used for hair. Trousers are smooth made with raw-wool. All clothes are handmade. At my feet lace-up loafer shoes in man style. Because of the rain I took some shoots inside. Enjoy!

Mercoledì ho visto Cats, uno dei più famosi musical del mondo. Ero così eccitata di vedere i famosi gatti Jellicle e lo spettacolo è stato grandioso, anche nella versione italiana. Sotto potete trovare alcune foto dello show.
Per questo evento ho indossato la prima eco pelliccia della stagione: la mia eco pelliccia grigia modello classico. Sotto, una semplice camicia bianca con un cardigan "rotondo", chiuso non dai soliti bottoni, ma con un fermaglio per capelli. I pantaloni sono morbidi e fatti di lana grezza. Tutti gli abiti sono fatti a a mano. Ai miei piedi mocassini stringati di stile maschile. A causa della pioggia ho dovuto fare le foto dentro. Enjoy!

Warm grey

In this cold winter it's simply great wearing warm clothes, such as this grey wool sweater. It's warm and cool because grey is one of this winter's main colours. Look at my new suede boots and bag: they seem made for this outfit. And they are sooo comfortable!

In questo freddo inverno è semplicemente fantastico indossare abiti caldi, come questo maglione di lana grigio. E' caldo e di moda perché il grigio è uno dei colori principali di questo inverno. Guardate i miei nuovi stivali scamosciati come la borsa: sembrano fatti apposta per questo look. E sono cooosì comodi!

Sunday brunch

Yesterday I had a brunch in my favourite restaurant: the Kofler. I ate fresh salmon and tuna: delightful. Here is the outfit for a relaxing rainy Sunday: black turtleneck under a violet wool dress with vintage belt. Simply and confortable, but in the meanwhile chic.

Ieri sono andata a pranzo nel mio ristorante preferito: il Kofler. Ho mangiato salmone e tonno freschi: delizioso. Ecco l'outfit per una domenica rilassante e piovosa: dolcevita nero sotto un abito di lana viola con una cintura vintage. Semplice e comodo, ma nello stesso tempo elegante.

Country style

Spending an afternoon in the country in this season coul be risky: you could find lots of rain and cold or a shy sun and warm temperature. I was lucky: that's why for this outfit I wore, starting from below, skinny velvet trousers inside leather boots, as properly said modern style. Then, above, a simply white shirt whit a leather belt and jacket with bat-wing sleeves, all vintage. The jacket, the belt and the boots are all brown, like the chestnuts colour.

Passare un pomeriggio in campagna in questa stagione può essere rischioso: si può trovare un sacco di pioggia e freddo oppure un po' di sole ed una temperatura tiepida. Io sono stata fortunata: ecco perché in questo outfit ho potuto indossare (partendo dal basso) pantaloni di velluto skinny rigorosamente dentro agli stivali, come comanda la moda del momento. Sopra una semplice camicia bianca con in vita una cintura di pelle ed un giubbotto con le maniche a pipistrello, tutto vintage. Il giubbotto, la cintura e gli stivali sono tutti marroni, come il colore delle castagne.

Red or not red?

Everybody knows that for next winter red is one of the main colours. But not everybody knows that red is not one of my favourite colours. Anyway when I see this pattern I had no doubts: it would be perfect for a pair of  jeans! Look at the opposite stripes on the pockets: I love them so much! I match them with a simple white shirt under a sweater in the same colour: this pattern is important and it's not necessary adding other relevant clothes.
The last photo is a tribute to the wonderful nature that is often better than human beings.

Flowers again?

Today I try to mix animalier print, a "must have" for this winter, with jeans on which I attached some flowers. Note that jeans are clear and flowers are brown dark: this made colours contrast, but in the mean time it's perfect with the animalier print. Don't you think?
It's a wonderful sunny day, unusual for this period, but we have to enjoy it because soon will arrive winter, cold and grey. Thinking about that, yesterday I bought some eco fur to made a brand new coat... Are you in hurry to see it? Take it easy guys!

At La Fenice theatre, Venezia

Saturday I went to Venezia (Venice) to see Rigoletto opera by Giuseppe Verdi at La Fenice theatre.
It was a fantastic day: instead of the announced rain, there was a shy sun and it was hot for this season. Even the show was wonderful: it was a performance in a modern point of view of the Rigoletto opera, directed by the great maestro Myung-Whun Chung.
For this occasion, I wore a black shantung tailleur with a white T-shirt under it. Bag and shoes with high heels were compulsory, all in black.

Ready to start!

Here I am, me too in the world of blogs. It was a long time since I thought to write in a blog, but now I am ready to start. I’ve always been interested in fashion world and obviously I am a fashion victim. Here I’ll talk about fashion and style, but always in a original way that is Corinna’s way.
For this first fall’s days I wear flowered jeans, an important pattern for this season. I love them because this pattern made jeans unusual and recognizable everywhere. I match them with a shirt and a cardigan in the same colours.
